About Women's Development Cell

P P Savani University established the Women Development Cell in 2017. Women Development Cell focuses on the overall development and well-being of the women students, faculty, and staff. The committee aims to create a secure, encouraging, and gender equality environment. The committee addresses the issues related to gender-based discrimination and recommends measures for gender parity.

The adage "Prevention is better than Cure" is, in our opinion, applicable not only to an individual's physical health but also to the general mental health of the individual.

Vision

Our vision is to create a university where women are valued, respected, and provided with equal opportunities to explore their full potential. We envision a campus where gender biases are eliminated, and women are empowered to become leaders, innovators, and change-makers in their chosen fields. We work to create a community that supports women's aspirations, and upholds their rights.

Mission

The Women's Development Cell (WDC) is committed to fostering a nurturing and inclusive educational environment that empowers women to excel academically, professionally, and personally. Our mission is to promote gender equality, raise awareness about women's issues, and provide a supportive network for women pursuing higher education.
