Introduction
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is an essential component of our university's commitment to academic excellence and continual development. The IQAC was established in accordance with the National Assessment and Accreditation Council's (NAAC) principles with the goal of developing a mechanism for purposeful, consistent, and catalytic improvement in the university's overall performance
Objectives
- Improve Academic and Administrative Performance: Establish quality standards and parameters for a variety of academic and administrative tasks
- Promote Quality Culture: Create a culture of quality by taking a complete and integrated approach to quality improvement.
- Ensure Stakeholder Engagement: Engage all stakeholders, including students, teachers, staff, alumni, and employers, in quality-related activities and decision-making.
- To encourage measures for institutional functioning that improve quality through the internalisation of a quality culture and the institutionalisation of best practices.
Functions and Responsibilities
- Curriculum Development: Helping to create and implement innovative and relevant curricula.
- Teaching and Learning: Using modern pedagogical approaches, embracing technology, and encouraging experiential learning.
- Research and Development: Encouraging research efforts, collaborations, and information sharing.
- Feedback Mechanisms: Creating comprehensive feedback systems to collect information from students, instructors, and other stakeholders.
- Accreditation and Audits: Coordinate accreditation processes and conduct academic and administrative audits on a regular basis.
Activities
- Quality benchmarks/parameters are developed and used to the institution's numerous academic and administrative activities.
- Facilitating the development of a learner-centric environment that promotes quality education, as well as faculty maturation in order to embrace the necessary knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning.
- Organise feedback responses from students, parents, and other stakeholders on quality-related institutional processes.
- Information dissemination on several quality factors in higher education.
- Organisation of inter and intra-institutional workshops, lectures on quality-related topics, and the development of quality circles.
- Documentation of numerous programmes/activities that contribute to quality improvement. Acting as the Institution's nodal agency for coordinating quality-related initiatives, such as the adoption and dissemination of best practices.
- Development and management of institutional databases using MIS for the goal of maintaining/enhancing
- Maintenance of institutional databases via MIS for the purpose of preserving or improving institutional quality.
- The institution is developing a culture of quality.
- Prepare the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) in accordance with NAAC criteria and parameters, which will be submitted to NAAC.

The IQAC plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the university maintains high standards of excellence in all its endeavors. By promoting a culture of quality, it helps to:
