VENKATESALU GOLD MEDAL AWARD from Governor of Tamil Nadu for his outstanding performance in under graduation. He has completed his Post Graduation in Orthopaedics and Post Graduate Diploma in Acupuncture with Distinction. He has more than 18 years of Teaching and Clinical experience in Government Medical College. He regularly participates in National and International Conferences and has conducted many workshops, CME and Training Programs to upgrade the knowledge of Physiotherapists. He has his own channel on youtube and has uploaded many Educational videos, popular all over India.
He had guided many Undergraduate and Postgraduate students of various disciplines like Orthopaedics and Cardio-respiratory Physiotherapy.

Dr Ashish Mathur
Dr. Ashish Mathur is a Professor in School of Physiotherapy of P P Savani University. He graduated in the year 1997 from Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Institute for Physically Handicapped, New Delhi, affiliated to Delhi University, and has done Masters Degree in Sports Physiotherapy in the year 2001 from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. He has more than 21 years of Teaching and Clinical experience, where he has trained and worked at National institutes like DD U Institute for Physically Handicapped, New Delhi under Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment( Delhi University), Safdurjung Hospital, New Delhi and eminent hospitals like Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi and MGM Medical College, Indore.
He has received significant Contribution Award in Physiotherapy Conference at AIIMS, New Delhi in the year 2015. He is Board of Studies member of PP Savani university and had been Board of Studies member of Devi Ahilya Vishwa Vidhyalaya, Indore and M. P. Medical Science University, Jabalpur. He is also on Examiner panel for both Graduate and Post graduate degree courses in various reputed universities.
His teaching and clinical interests are in Sports, Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, Acupuncture, Auricular and Scalp Acupuncture and Movement Science. His research interests are in the fields of Sports injury epidemiology and Prevention, Exercise for health and chronic disease, Ergonomics, Fall Prevention, Education and Curriculum development for health care professionals, Design and review, Embedding global health learning into health science curricula and Inter-professional learning. In his illustrious career of around 21 years, he has treated many musculoskeletal and sports injury patients and rehabilitated patients suffering from various Neuro-logical conditions.

Dr. Bindesh Patel

He is interested in teaching courses mainly Sports Physiotherapy, Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and Exercise Therapy. Dr. Bindesh has done MPTh in Musculoskeletal and Sports from MGM University, Navi Mumbai. He has attended many National conferences. He has also worked as medical convener during 20th commonwealth table tennis championship. He has done internationally certified Kinesio Taping workshop and Neural Tissue Mobilization workshop. Dr. Sanjib Kumar Das
Dr. Sanjib Kumar Das, MPT, Fellow PhD. is an Assistant Professor in the School of Physiotherapy of P.P Savani University. Dr Das’s contribution as an Academician, Clinician and Researcher has been honored with Young Achievers Award, Senior Research paper award, Junior Research paper award at times from Indian Association of Physiotherapists. Dr. Das has more than 25 publications including international journals of repute, edited book chapters and articles in regional newspapers. He has remained involved in various research projects funded by MHRD, Govt. of India. He has been invited to deliver key note lectures in Ergonomics and to present scientific papers in several international and national conferences in India and abroad. He has pursued Fellow Doctoral in the domain of Ergonomics and Human Factors Engineering from NITIE, Mumbai. He is specialized in Musculoskeletal Disorders and has an area of interest in the occupational health and hazards, work-related musculoskeletal disorders, ergonomics and bioengineering.
Dr. Samira Mulla
Dr. Samira Mulla (BPT) is a Clinical Therapist in the School of Physiotherapy of P P Savani University. She did her graduation (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) from Yenepoya University, Manglore, Karnataka. She is certified under Manual therapy course, under the guidance of well known mentor Dr. Mohanty. She has done Group Research in checking the effect of musculoskeletal disorder in workers by using patient transfer technique in hospital set up.
Her field of interest is in Orthopedics. She has participated in many National & International conferences. She is passionate about spreading the awareness of Physiotherapy as a reliable and affordable healthcare solution in both urban and rural India.

Dr. Nitin Jain had completed his undergraduate degree in physiotherapy from Indore Institute of Medical Sciences (IIMS), Indore, MP in the year 2005. After working for two years in physiotherapy department of government hospital and medical college, he immigrated to United States to pursue masters. He completed his masters in kinesiology from Texas Woman’s University, Denton, Texas, United States in the year 2009. Post completion of the national physical therapy licensure examination in United states he started his first job in Oswego hospital, Oswego, NY. In order to further understand the United States health care delivery system at different level likewise: acute care, skilled nursing care, outpatient facilities and home health care, he began working as a travel physical therapist. Being a travel physical therapist, he was employed for short duration at the multiple facilities located in New York, Virginia, and Tennessee State for 3 years. While working as a travel physical therapist in different cities, he worked in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities located in Albany, Troy, Catskill,Brewster, Lake Katrine, Bristol and Farmville. He worked in sports physical therapy clinic dedicated to mixed martial art and wrestlers located at Brewster, NY. Dr. Ankita has more than 10 years of experience working as a physical therapist in USA. She has worked in several renowned acute care, sub-acute, and outpatient facilities in New York and Michigan states.
Dr. Ankita has completed her bachelor’s degree from MGM medical college in 2007. She is gold medalist and received awards for excellence in her academics in all four years of her bachelors program.
After completing bachelor’s degree, she moved to USA for further studies. She completed her Masters in Exercise Physiology from Ithaca College, New York in 2010 with excellent GPA. She received full scholarship during her Masters program.
She has keen interest in research and participated in various research projects while doing her Masters. She also completed her post-graduate research project in Delayed onset muscle soreness, which was awarded as best thesis. She also worked as teaching assistant in anatomy lab while doing her Masters from 2008-2010. Dr. Ankita also completed her Doctorate in Physical therapy from Utica College, NY in 2013.
She has been working as a lead physical therapist for various companies. Dr. Ankita is strong follower of evidence based practice and attended several conferences to keep with current researches and treatment strategies. She has herself conducted several seminars and presented her thesis in American Conference of Sports Medicine. While working Dr. Ankita has gained expertise in myofascial release and McKenzie technique in management of cervical and lumbar pain. Dr. Ankita also has certification in kinesiotape application.
Gait Analysis, lower back pain management, and delayed-onset muscle soreness are her research interests. She believes in individualized treatment plan as ‘everyone is individual’. She believes that thorough evaluation on first visit and subsequent visits is key to successful treatment outcome.
Dr. Cynthia Srikesavan

Dr. Cynthia Srikesavan currently works as a Senior Researcher in Physiotherapy at the University of Oxford, United Kingdom. She completed her Bachelors degree in physiotherapy in 1998 from the Government College of Physiotherapy, Trichy. She then worked in different teaching capacities alongside clinical responsibilities in the states of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Gujarat in India for around nine years. She also completed her MSc and MPhil in Psychology and a Masters degreein Physiotherapy (MPT) from India, before moving to Canada for higher studies. She was awarded a PhD in Applied Health Sciences from the University of Manitoba, Canada in 2015 for her work on a computer game-based hand exercise programme for people with rheumatoid arthritis or hand osteoarthritis.
Dr. Cynthia began working at the University of Oxford in June 2015 in a post-doctoral capacity. Her main research areas are hand rehabilitation in arthritis conditions, implementation, digital health interventions, and musculoskeletal patient-reported outcome measures. She is trained in conducting quantitative, qualitative, and mixed research studies, systematic reviews, and clinical trials.
Dr. Cynthia has published her research work in peer-reviewed journals with high impact factor and has also presented her work at various national and international physiotherapy conferences including the World Conference of Physiotherapy. She is passionate about high-quality healthcare evidence and Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) in research. She is a keen supporter and contributor of the Cochrane collaboration and PEDro (Physiotherapy Evidence Database).
Dr. Cynthia also actively collaborates and guides researchers in India on projects related to the translation and cross-cultural adaptation of patient-reported outcome measures.
