Dr. Vimal Patel
Associate Professor

Dr. Vimal Patel is working as Associate Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutics at School of Pharmacy, PPSU. His major area of interest is Nanomedicine, Nanobiotechnology, Oncotherapeutics, immunology, neurodegeneration disorders, computational biology, and polymer science. He has 20 international publications including book chapters in high impact factor journals like Current Neuropharmacology, Brain Science, European Journal of Neuroscience, AAPS Pharm SciTech, and Nano Express, Computation Biology and Chemistry, Cancer Pathogenesis and Therapeutics, Journal of Drug Delivery Science and Technology. He has been recommended as peer-review in American Journal of Bioscience, Discovery Nano, Biomedical materials, Naunyn- Schmiedeberg’s Archives of Pharmacology.

He is a recipient of Best researcher award in 2019 and 2020 by Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University. He has received 1.5/- Lakh INR travel support from the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) under the International Travel Scheme (ITS), DST for attending the conference. He has also received about 900$ international travel grant from Graphene Flagship in Sept. 2019, World Federation of Neurology in Oct 2019 for attending the conferences.

He has receive 2.15/- lakh INR from “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Hackathon 2022-2023” under the scheme of Student Startup and Innovation Policy (SSIP- 2.0).

Mr. Samaresh Pal Roy is working as an Assistant Professor at the School of Pharmacy, P P Savani University, with an impressive background spanning over 17 years in pharmacological research and education. Mr. Roy's primary research interests encompass organ protective studies, focusing on hepatoprotective, nephroprotective, neuroprotective, and anticancer activities, as well as clinical research studies. Mr. Roy completed his B. Pharm and M. Pharm from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science (RGUHS), Bangalore and also completed MBA from Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune.

He has published more than 35 Research and Review papers in reputed national and international journals and has authored book chapters by Bentham book publishers, Singapore. Mr. Roy has successfully secured significant research funding, managing projects worth over Rs. 5.8 lakhs from bodies such as the Gujarat Council on Science and Technology (GUJCOST). He has successfully guided 16 M. Pharm students and 42 B. Pharm students in their research, fostering future pharmaceutical scientists.

He has been granted Four patents, reflecting his innovative contributions to pharmaceutical sciences. His expertise is frequently recognized at national and international seminars, where he has delivered over 30 oral and poster presentations.

In addition to his teaching and research duties, Mr. Roy is actively involved in several administrative roles such as the Students Start-up and Innovation Policy (SSIP) Coordinator and IIC Convenor and Innovation Ambassador, promoting innovation and entrepreneurship. Dr. Rumit M. Shah is a distinguished academician and researcher in pharmaceutical sciences with a Ph.D. from Kanpur University and an M. Pharm from Saurashtra University. He has over 17 years of experience in teaching, research, and industry.

He has published multiple research papers and books, including three books on Pharmacognosy and has received recognition for his contributions. His research work also includes two patents—one UK Design Patent and one Indian Design Patent. Dr. Shah has guided 12 undergraduate and 7 postgraduate students in their research projects.

He has extensive industrial experience as a Quality Assurance Chemist and IPQA Officer, along with active participation in national and international seminars, conferences, and faculty development programs.

Mrs. Yachita Percy Jokhi is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Quality Assurance at P P Savani University, With over five years of academic experience. Pharmacy in Quality Assurance from Shree Dhanvantary Pharmacy College, Surat, under Gujarat Technological University. Dr. Pratik Siddhapura

Dr. Pratik Siddhapura is an Associate Professor with extensive expertise in pharmaceutics, nano-based drug delivery, and novel drug carrier systems. He holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics. His research focuses on the development of formulations for the treatment of resistant fungal infections, nano-based drug delivery, and exploring phytoconstituents with antimicrobial activity.

Dr. Pratik Siddhapura has received numerous accolades, including an Academic Excellence Award during his B.Pharm and 3rd rank in GTU in M.Pharm Pharmaceutics. He has successfully qualified GPAT-2019 and GPAT-2020 and has been awarded research grants, including ₹25,000 from the GTU-SMS scheme and ₹2.2 lakh from the SSIP scheme to support his innovative pharmaceutical research.

His professional experience includes serving as an Assistant Professor at Anand Pharmacy College, V.V. Nagar, where he contributed significantly to pharmaceutical education and research. His teaching and laboratory involvement primarily focus on Pharmaceutics, guiding students in formulation development and advanced drug delivery systems.
