Dr. Hiren K. Patel (Ph.D.) presently works as Associate Professor at P. P. Savani University. He has more than 09 years of teaching and research experience. He also worked as Principal of Science department for 03 years at P. P. Savani University. He was a recipient of “Best Young Scientist-2018” award by “The Gujarat Association for Agricultural Sciences” in the field of Agricultural Biotechnology. He received Gold Medal for "Best Innovative Research" holds a Ph.D. by Honorable Chancellor of Gujarat, Agricultural Minister of Gujarat & Deputy Director of ICAR, New Delhi in 2017. Dr. Patel is a twice NET qualified scholar. He has selected as “Top 05 Young Scientist” by prestigious committee “The Gujarat Association for Agricultural Sciences” in 2017. He is honoured with “Best Ph.D. Research-2016” by All India of Human Rights, Liberties & social Justice. He has also appointed as referee for European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) International Ph.D. Programme. Dr. Patel, an academician and researcher has guided several UG, PG, M. Phil & Ph.D. Biotechnology students and have published more than 20 research papers, 06 books & 10 book chapter in National and International reputed journals. He is also a reviewer in some of top most journals & book publisher in the field Environmental biology and Biotechnology. His area of interest is in Plant/Agricultural Molecular Biology & biotechnology, Microbial Biotechnology, Environmental Biotechnology, Bioaugmentation and Enzyme Technology.

Dr. Anish Kumar Sharma (PhD) works as Principal and Associate Professor, School of Sciences of P. P. Savani University. Dr. Sharma has pursued his Ph.D. in major subject of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology with minor subject Microbiology and have qualified GATE Biotechnology in 2011 with (AIR-151 and 99.01 percentile), ICAR-(ARS-NET) in 2013 (67%), CSIR-NET examination in 2013 with AIR-33 and ICAR (ARS-NET) again in 2018 (60%). He has published research papers in National as well as International journals. He submitted 10 nucleotide DNA sequence in NCBI. He has membership of various reputed International and National Science Societies. He has attended as well as participated in many National & International conferences, workshops, trainings and Faculty Development Programs. He won Best Poster award at International Symposium on Emerging Biological Trends in 21st Century held at P P Savani University (Surat, Gujarat) co-sponsored by GSBTM & he secured 2nd Prize in Oral Presentation at 2nd International Conference-Food Security, Nutrition and Sustainable Agriculture-Emerging Technologies held on 14th -16th February, 2019, organized jointly by Baba Farid College (Bathinda, Punjab) & Indian Institute of Food Processing Technology (IIFPT) sponsored by Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MOFPI) (GOI) and Society of Pharmacognosy & Phytochemistry.
His area of interest lies in Plant Biotechnology, Microbial Molecular Biology and Environmental Biotechnology.
Dr Piyush Desai

Prof. Piyush Desai (PhD) is an Emeritus Professor in the School of Sciences. He is one of the leading Microbiologists of Gujarat and India. He has served as the Head and Professor at Department of Biosciences, Veer Narmada South Gujarat University, Surat. He has been chair and member of various state and national level scientific and academic committees. He is recipient of the prestigious award called ‘National Biotechnology Fellowship award’ in 1990. He has published more than 50 research papers in journals of national and international repute. His areas of interest are in Textile Effluent and Agricultural Microbiology. He has mentored 20 PhD students, 6 MPhil students and 2 postdoctoral students during his career. He has 29 years of teaching experience in Microbiology at PG level. He wishes to create new milestones by training the best scientific minds in the state of Gujarat. His other interests include reading on diverse subjects, with spirituality as one of his favorites.
Dr. Mehul R. Khimani

Dr. Mehul R. Khimani is an Assistant Professor at School of Sciences, P.P. Savani University, Surat. He has obtained his doctoral degree in polymer chemistry from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Gujarat; specialize in characterization self-assembly in solution using different techniques. He has worked as a JRF and SRF during his doctorate. He has pursued his Post Doctorate from Qingdao University of Science and Technology, P.R. China.
His research interest in the field of Surface and Colloidal Science. He has published 9 research articles in reputed International Journals with the collaboration of abroad and Indian professors/ scientists. He has attended/ presented his research work in several National/ International conferences. He has visited National Nuclear Energy Agency of Indonesia (BATAN), Kawasan Puspiptek Serpong, Tangerang, Indonesia to attend workshop in 2014.
Ms. Dipali Kathiriya

Ms. Dipali Kathiriya is an Assistant Professor in the Environmental Science department of School of Science of P. P. Savani University. She has completed her B.E (Environmental Engineer) from L.D. College of Engineering, Ahmedabad and M.E (Environmental Engineer) from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. She is UGC NET 2017 qualified in Environment Science. Her areas of interest are teaching and research in bioremediation of industrial effluent. She has attended many national conferences and seminars in the field of Environment. She is an Environmentalist not only by profession but also by heart. Besides teaching the student about nature she also makes them aware about their responsibility towards conserving it.

Ms. Parini Surti is an assistant professor at Biotechnology department of School of Science, P. P Savani University. She has completed her M.Sc Biotechnology from Nirma University, Ahmedabad. She has qualified CSIR-NET, DBT-NET and GATE. She has 4 years of research experience in the field of biochemistry. She has served as CSIR Junior and Senior Research Fellow at Biochemistry Department, the M. S University of Baroda. She has received training from IISER Bhopal. She has published research and review articles in international journals; attended several national and international conferences and workshops. Her research interest includes microbiology, microbial biochemistry and molecular biology. Parini Surti is a trained Bharatnatyam dancer. She has completed her B. A in performing arts from Bruhad Gujarat Sangeet Samiti. She has worked as a professional choreographer and has donned other hats of educationist, RTE activist; standup comic and improv artist.
Dr. Vishal Singh Negi

Dr. Vishal Singh Negi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biotechnology / Microbiology, School of Sciences at the PP Savani University. He is a Ford Fellow from the United States of America. He received his Ph.D. in Molecular Biosciences and Bioengineering from the University of Hawaii, USA. After his Ph.D., Dr. Negi worked as a postdoctoral researcher in one of the leading mesothelioma research laboratories in the world (UH Cancer Center, USA). Before joining PPSU, Dr. Negi was working on epigenomics and centromere biochemistry at UH Manoa, USA. He has published his research in several high-impact factor international journals and presented his work in several international conferences as well. Dr. Negi has mentored several undergraduate and postgraduate students and has been actively serving as a reviewer in several international journals. His research interest lies in epigenomics, microbiome, biochemistry, and bioinformatics. Besides academic and research activities, Dr. Negi enjoys playing badminton, table tennis, and volleyball.
Dr. Archana Negi

Dr. Archana Negi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biotechnology / Microbiology, School of Sciences at the PP Savani University. She obtained her Ph.D. in Molecular Biosciences and Bioengineering from the University of Hawaii, USA. Dr. Negi has worked in academics as well as in industry. She has worked in premier research institutions such as ICGEB, and MBBE UH Manoa, USA. She has published several research articles in national and international journals and presented her research findings in several international conferences. Dr. Negi has served as a reviewer in several international journals and has also mentored several undergraduate and postgraduate students. She has also conducted several clinical research studies for leading pharmaceutical companies such as Pfizer, Novo Nordisk, Eli Lily & Company, Sanofi, and Novartis. Besides research, she has also taught UG and PG students in national and international institutions. Her research interest lies in plant tissue culture and transformation, plant microbiome, molecular biology, and biochemistry.

Dr. Sadafara Pillai is an Associate Professor at the School of Sciences, P. P. Savani University. She has done her Ph.D. in the major subject of Chemistry (specialization in Physical Chemistry) from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat. She is a university topper in her post-graduation (PG) course and recipient of prestigious UGC fellowships; Maulana Azad National Fellowship (for pursuing Ph.D.) and Dr. D. S. Kothari Post-Doctoral Fellowship (for postdoctoral research). She is engaged in the research field of Surface, Colloid, and Polymer Science and published many research papers in reputed international journals in collaboration with several leading professors abroad and scientists in India. With the help of industrial donations, she built a sophisticated lab at the School of Sciences and was granted funding for the project by the UGC-DAE Consortium for Scientific Research.She is currently a mentor for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students. Her doctorate candidate was the first Ph.D. recipient from P PSavani University. Dr. Pillai also acts as a reviewer for numerous reputable international publications as well as a member of the editorial board of Frontiers in Chemistry and Frontiers in Physics' specialized sections on physical chemistry and chemical physics. She has received the P PSavani University's Best Research Faculty Award 2019 for her outstanding contributions to research, and she consistently ranks as one of the university's top scientists according to the AD Scientific Index.

Ms Smita Ramkumar is a Teaching Assistant in Microbiology Department in the School of Sciences at the P.P. Savani University, Surat. She pursued her Masters in Microbiology from Department of Biosciences, Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat. She has worked on “Shelf-Life Extension of Strawberry and development of Product” at Food Technology Division, BARC - Mumbai during her masters. She also has good industrial experience. She achieved award for Best poster presentation in 3rd “National Conference on Biological Tools for Sustainable Environment” in 2018. She was awarded 2nd rank in oral presentation in 10th “National Science Symposium 2018 on Recent Trends in Science & Technology”, organized by Christ College, Rajkot. She has also achieved Gold medal in 27th State level Seminar presentation conducted by GIBioN, Nadiad in 2016, sponsored by GSBTM & DST. Dr. Sekhar Tiwari is an Assistant Professor at School of Sciences, P.P. Savani University, Surat, Gujrat. He received his Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Kumaun University, Nainitaland has qualified ICAR-NET. He has gained professional research experiences by working at national laboratories like DRDO-DIBR, ICAR-VPKAS, ICAR-IARI, ICAR-IIOPR. He has worked as a JRF, SRF, RA, Adjunct and Visiting faculty during his research and academic career. He is also a lifetime member of professional scientific society (Professor H.S. Srivastava Foundation for Science and Society).His research interest lies in tissue culture and transgenic development of plants, physiology and molecular biology of plants, omics and nanobiotechnology.

Dr. Sabirkhan Pathan is currently working as Assistant Professor at Department of Chemistry, School of Sciences, P.P. Savani University, Kosamba, Surat, India. He has pursued his graduation (Chemistry-Physics-Mathematics group), post-graduation (Organic Chemistry) M.Phil (Synthetic Medicinal Organic Chemistry) and Ph.D (Synthetic Medicinal Organic Chemistry) fromVeer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat, Gujarat, India. During the tenure of research work he was awarded with prestigious fellowships named UGC-Maulana Azad National Fellowship.
He holds good experience in research and academics as publicized by number of publications as well as seminars/conferences and workshops attended. Currently he has 6 publications as original research articles all in peer-reviewed national/international journals. He has attended more than 12 national Seminars/conferences and workshops and 3 international conferences. Dr. Sneha Dodia is an Assistant Professor in the Biotechnology Department of the School of Sciences of P PSavani University. She completed Doctorate in Biotechnology from Saurashtra University, Rajkot in the field of Agricultural-Biotechnology and she has qualified ICAR-NET in 2015. Dr. Dodia has published several research and review papers in peer-reviewed journals of National and International repute with a cumulative Impact Factor 19.25. She gained specialized research experiences while working as JRF, SRF at national laboratories like ICAR-Directorate of Groundnut Research and ICAR-Directorate of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Research.Dr.Sneha has actively participated in various national and international conferences, seminars and training sessions.
She was awarded with the "Best oral research paper presentation" award at 'IJTA 3rd International Conference on Agriculture, Horticulture & Plant Sciences’, New Delhi, in June 2016. She also won 'Best poster presentation award' at the International conference on ‘Recent Trends in Applied Sciences: Building Institutional and Industrial Avenues’ Anand, Gujarat held in December 2015. Dr. Aakanksha Wany is currently working as Associate Professor at Department of Biotechnology/ Microbiology, School of Sciences, P.P. Savani University, Kosamba, Surat, India.Dr. Wany did her graduation in Microbiology, post-graduation in Biotechnology from Pt. Ravi Shankar Shukla University, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India. She did her Ph.D. in Science from the Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi, Jharkhand, India in 2015. Before joining PPSU, Dr. Wany was a Post-Doctoral Fellow at National Institute of Plant Genome Research (NIPGR), New Delhi, India for more than 6 years (2015- 2021). During her post-doctoral tenure, she got many prestigious fellowships such as DBT-RA (2015), SERB-NPDF (2016-2018) and CSIR-SRA (2018-2021). Apart from this, she has also qualified UGC-SET (2006) and got UGC-MANF (2011-2015) for her meritorious record. She has also taught in various Science Collegesand National Institute of Technology, Raipur for more than 5 years. Dr. Wany also guided many UG and PG students during their dissertation and thesis during her teaching tenure and wasactively involved in administrative work.

Sc. in Bioinformatics from the Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi, Jharkhand, India. During his post-graduation, his research work was presented and appreciated at different International forums/platforms. He did his Ph. D. in Science (broad area Bioinformatics) from the Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi, Jharkhand, India. After his Ph.D., Dr. Kumar worked as a postdoctoral researcher in one of the leading plant genomics research laboratories in India (National Institute of Plant Genome Research, New Delhi) for more than 8 Years. During his post-doctoral tenure, he was awarded with many prestigious fellowships such as SERB-NPDF and CSIR-SRA (Scientists’ Pool).Dr. Kumar has published his research workin many peer-reviewed high-impact factor International journals. Mrs. Jinal Patel has joined as Assistant Professor in the Medical Lab Technology (MLT) division, in the School of Science at P. P. Savani University, Surat, Gujarat. She completed her Masters in Medical Laboratory Technology from Smt. L. P. Patel Institute of MLT, Karamsad, Anand. She is pursuing Ph.D in Medical Laboratory Technology. Mr. Harsh Mehta has joined as Assistant Professor (Chemistry) in the School of Sciences at P. P. Savani University, Surat, Gujarat. His expertise is in organic chemistry and pursued his research work in the field of medicinal chemistry. He has published six research articles in national and international journals with well-known publication houses. He has attended various national and international conferences, seminars and workshops. He also has a PG-Diploma in IPR from Gujarat Technological University. He has also contributed as an author in a book chapter for Wiley publication. His area of interest covers medicinal properties of synthesized hybrid heterocyclic entities. As a part of extra-curricular activities, he is also active in various cultural activities like drama and skit. He stood first in Adhunik Natya Taleem and third in west zone youth festival skit competition.

Ms. Timsi Modi is currently working as a Teaching Assistant at the Department of Environmental Science in the School of Sciences, P. P. Savani University. She did her B.E (Environmental Science & Technology) from UPL University of Sustainable Technology, Vataria and MTech (Environmental Engineering) from Pandit Deendayal Energy University, Gandhinagar. She has worked in the field of remote sensing in her MTech Dissertation. Before joining PPSU, she was a former Environment Engineer in Pharmaceutical Industry and operated a whole Effluent Treatment Plant in that Unit. Her area of interest lies in Air Pollution Control Techniques, Climate Change effects, analysis of various parameters of wastewater & their treatment and Solid Waste Management. She received her Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi in 2009. After her Ph.D., Dr. Chahar has more than 12 years of Teaching, research and Industrial experience. She did her Postdoctoral research at University of Florida, USA and Touro University, USA (2009-2012). She has published 16 research papers in reputed International Journals and 4 Book chapters with International publishers like Royal Society of Chemistry, Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, Taylor & Francis etc. She has attended as well as participated in many National & International conferences, symposium, workshops, trainings and Faculty Development Programs from Premier Institutions like IIMs', IITs’, IISC Bangalore etc. Apart from being an academician, she has been actively involved in the administrative responsibilities.

Dr. Nikit Deshmukh
Associate Professor
Dr. Nikit Deshmukh is currently working as Associate Professor at School of Sciences, P P Savani University, Surat, Gujarat. He did his PhD in Nuclear Physics, from the M.S. University of Baroda in 2012. After Ph.D., he worked as a post-doctoral fellow in University of Sao Paulo, Sao Paulo, Brazil from 2013-2015. There he received prestigious International “FAPESP Fellowship” by Foundation for Research Support of the State of São Paulo, Brazil. He also worked as a post-doctoral fellow for next two years (2016-2018) at Laboratori Nazionali del Sud (LNS) of INFN, Catania, Italy. Here, he received International “INFN – Fellowship” which is awarded to only 20 candidates from all over the world in various Experimental Nuclear Physics branches. Recently, he then also worked from 2018-2020 at Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics, Kolkata, India as Research Associate-III.
He has presented 37 research papers and published 85 research papers in several international/national journals; comprising 714 Citations (h=15) on Google Scholar till June 2022. His research focuses in the field of Nuclear Physics, especially Nuclear reactions where they are meant to understand the nuclear structure of the particles involved. He has performed and participated in several Nuclear Physics experiments at Indian Laboratories like TIFR, BARC, VECC & IUAC and internationally at countries like Brazil, Argentina, USA & Italy. Currently a research project is credited to his merit from UGC-DAE Consortium for Scientific Research. Apart from research, he has a teaching experience of more than 6 years.

Dr. Modhhas completed her Ph.D. in the major subject of Chemistry (specialization in Organic Chemistry) from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat. She has also served as a Senior Research Fellow at SardarKrushinagarDantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar, Gujarat, India.Dr.Modh has published research papers in various journals. She has attended as well as participated in many National & International conferences, workshops, trainings and Faculty Development Programs seminars, conferences and workshops attended.Her research areas include Organic Synthesis, Polymer Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, and Drug Delivery.
Dr. Rajesh Kumar Jha

Dr. Rajesh Kumar Jha is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology, at School of Science, P.P. Savani University, Surat, Gujarat. He obtained his Ph.D. from Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR), CSIR-CSMCRI. Previously, Dr. Jha has worked in reputed research institutes like NIPGR, ICGEB, University of Delhi, ICAR-IARI, and WVSU, USA. He has published several research papers in peer-reviewed international journals. He has been awarded first prize, in plant science, under the young Scientist categories of FBMI International Conference 2017, University of Lucknow. He has also qualified DST-INSPIRE Fellowship (2012), DBT JRF (2012), GATE (2012), and ICAR-NET (2018). Dr. Jha is a reviewer of reputed journals and holds membership of national and international societies.
His research area of interest lies in Plant molecular biology, Plant stress Physiology, Secondary metabolites, and Genome editing in crop plants.
Dr. Soham Trivedi

Dr. Soham Trivedi currently joined as Assistant Professor in Biotechnology at School of Sciences, P.P. Savani University, Surat, Gujarat. He has obtained his M.Tech in Biotechnology from Dr. D.Y Patil University, Pune. He did his Ph.D. in Environmental Biotechnology, in 2015 from Shri Jagdishprasad Jhabarmal Tibrewala University, Rajasthan. He has more than 11 years of teaching and industrial experience. Dr. Trivedi has guided several UG, PG & Ph.D. students and published more than 30 research papers in National as well as International journals. He has organized, attended as well as participated in many National & International conferences, workshops and trainings. His areas of interest are Food and Dairy Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Immunology, Environmental Biotechnology, Microbiology, Agriculture, Bioethics, Patents and IPR. He awarded Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) (2013 to 2015) and, Senior Research Fellow (SRF) (2015 to 2017)from IIT (ISM), Dhanbad, Jharkhand, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. He has published his research papers in several international andnational journals of repute.He has attendedmany national, and international conferences, symposiums and workshops. He is reviewer of several Scopus indexed journals. He is life time member of Association of Microbiologists of India. Dr. Gopal Avashthi

Dr. Gopal Avashthi is currently working as Assistant Professor at Department of Chemistry, School of Sciences, PP Savani University, Kosamba, Surat, Gujarat, India. He has pursued his graduation in Chemistry-Botany-Zoology group, and post-graduation in Organic Chemistry. He has pursued M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences (Material Chemistry-Multifaceted Graphene-based Materials) from Central University of Gujarat, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. He has qualified GATE-2014, GATE-2015 in Chemistry, CUCET-2013 and Ekikrit Scholarship Exam-2002 (Class 9th to 12th Scholarship-Organized by Allahabad, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh). During the tenure of research work, he has also worked as Project Fellow/Associate in UGC-DAE, Indore sponsored project. He has published more than 10 internationals research articles with average impact factor above 5 and one book chapter in springer nature. Dr. Priyanka Chauhan

Dr. Priyanka Chauhan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Microbiology, at School of Science, P.P. Savani University, Surat, Gujarat. She obtained his Ph.D. from the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR), CSIR-NBRI, Lucknow. Dr. Chauhan has worked as a teacher for 2 years at Seven Hills Co-education College, and 8 months at Sai Medical College, Kanpur. She also has 5 years of research experience from the Division of Microbial Technology at CSIR-NBRI, Lucknow. She has presented her research work at several international and national conferences in India. She has served as a resource person and delivered an invited talk in a workshop organised by the University of Mauritius. She has also qualified GATE (2016; 94 percentile), CSIR-NET (2016; AIR42), CSIR-JRF (2016; AIR62) and CSIR-JRF (2017; AIR64). She has been awarded Kamal Nayan Diwedi Silver Medal from Janta College Bakewar in the Year 2014 for scoring highest marks in Master's.She has published 10 research articles/bookchapters/mini-articles in reputed peer-reviewed journals/books. Mrs. Krishna Rana is an Assistant Professor in the Microbiology Department, School of Sciences, P P Savani University. She has done her post-graduation in Biotechnology from the Department of Biotechnology, VNSGU, Surat. She is pursuing her Ph.D. in Biotechnology from the Department of Biosciences, VNSGU, Surat. She has been awarded SHODH- Scheme Of Developing High Quality Research fellowship by the government of Gujarat. Her area of research is microbial metagenomics. She is working on the gut microbiome of cancer patients with the coordination from Lions Cancer Detection Centre Trust, Surat Civil Hospital, Surat. Her areas of interest are Microbiology, Animal Biotechnology, Industrial Biotechnology, and Fermentation technology. She has presented her research work at many international conferences and attended many workshops. She also has prior work experience in pollution control laboratory and microbiology laboratory.
Dr. Mukta Jain

Mukta Jain (Ph.D.) currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of PGDMLT at the School of Science, PP Savani University, located in Surat, Gujarat. She earned her Ph.D. in Microbial Sciences from Amity University, Rajasthan. Throughout her doctoral tenure, Dr. Jain dedicated four years as a Teaching Associate, demonstrating her commitment to academic excellence.Dr. Jain continued her academic journey as a Postdoctoral Innovation Fellow at Panjab University, Chandigarh. Additionally, she gained valuable industry experience asResearch and Development Scientist at Biogenix Inc. Pvt. Ltd. Lucknow. During her professional journey, Dr. Mukta has made significant contributions to innovation, filed five patents at the Indian Patents Office for technologies developed duringdoctoral tenure. Dr. Jain has authored 12 research papers in peer-reviewed journals indexed in SCI and Scopus. She has showcased her research findings at numerous international and national conferences. Dr. Jain has been honored (twice) with the Helping Hand Award by the International Association for Paratuberculosis. She has also received travel awards from prestigious institutions such as ICMR and the Millennium India Foundation to present her research at international conferences.Her active involvement extends to being a member of the International Association of Paratuberculosis. With a cumulative professional experience of eight years, Dr. Jain excels in academia, research, and industry. Her research interests encompass diagnostics development, epidemiology, human and veterinary health, as well as vaccine development.
Dr. Raghvendra Dubey

Dr. Raghvendra is working as Assistant Professor of Biotechnology, PPSU, Surat, India. Dr. Dubey has earned Ph.D. in Biological Sciences (Plant Physiology and Plant molecular biology) from Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research at CSIR-National Botanical Research Institute, Lucknow, India. In addition Dr Dubey has qualified several fellowship exams viz., CSIR-UGC-JRF/NET (Secure: AIR 157), ICAR-NET, GATE, UP-CET, written exam for ICMR Scientist-B and UGC-RGNF-JRF/SRF as well as participated in several national and international Seminars and Workshops.
During PhD dissertation, Dr. Dubey worked on stomatal morpho-physiological behaviour in cotton leaf during drought stress. He has expertise in stomatal morphometry and bioassay, Gene expression analysis, Gas exchange rates measurement (Portable photosynthetic system; LI-COR 6400 and 6800), Carbon isotope measurement (IRMS), Phytohormones quantification (HPLC) and Microscopy (Light and SEM) , and also of several software’s used for Biostatistics. The research findings of Dr. Dubey are published in various SCI Journal.
Dr. Raghvendra has 3 years teaching experience of students from diverse Life Sciences backgrounds in various institutions as well contributed to several scientific programs organised for the students. Dr. Dubey is very much interested in the response of stomata and root, and responses of Biostimulants as well as role of microRNA in the plants during stressful conditions.
Dr. Sneeha Veerakumar

Dr. Sneeha Veerakumar holds the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology/Microbiology at the School of Sciences, P P Savani University. Her educational background is B.Tech., in Biotechnology (Gold Medalist) and M.Tech., in Industrial Biotechnology with a Doctorate degree in Biotechnology from Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore, Tamil Nadu. She was honored with the prestigious Raman Research Award for her significant contributions to the scientific community. During her doctoral studies, she has mentored projects for B.Tech., M.Tech., and M.Sc. students. She has authored for research and review articles in reputable journals. She has also presented papers at National and International conferences. Her research interests include diverse areas such as the Anti-Cancer Efficacy of Plant-Derived Compounds, Marine Microbiology, Biofuel Production, Enzyme Production and Optimization.
Dr. Hiteshi Tandon

Dr. Hiteshi Tandon works as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, School of Sciences at P. P. Savani University. Prior to joining the university, she was a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Computational and Data Sciences at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. She has also worked as a DST Woman Scientist-C under DST WOS-C (WISE KIRAN-IPR) Program. Dr. Tandon received her PhD in the subject Chemistry from Manipal University Jaipur, India. She completed her Master’s from Malaviya National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jaipur. Her research area falls under Computational and Theoretical chemistry and her work is centred on the DFT-based descriptors, related principles and their applications in the real field. Dr. Tandon has published more than 30 research articles in various indexed and peer-reviewed high impact international journals and contributed a chapter to the book 'Carbon Nanotubes and Nanoparticles: Current and Potential Applications'. She has presented research papers at several international conferences and has also been invited as an expert speaker for specialized workshop sessions. Currently, she is on the Editorial Review Board of Journal of Applied Nanotechnology Research (IGI Global) and actively serving as a reviewer for several journals including New Journal of Chemistry (Royal Society of Chemistry), Applied Physics Letters (AIP Publishing), International Journal of Quantitative Structure-Property Relationships (IGI Global), and Current World Environment (Enviro Research Publishers). Mr. Prashant Kumar Sathvara

Mr. Prashantkumar B. Sathvara is currently employed as assistant professor at School of Science, P.P. Savani University. He holds a diverse academic background, including a pursuing Ph.D. in Environmental Science (Thesis Submitted), M.Sc. in Environmental Science and Technology, P.G. Diploma in Geo-informatics System, and a B.Sc. in Safety and Fire Technology. His research contributions are primarily focused on environmental science, with a particular emphasis on carbon sequestration mapping, vegetation change detection, and the application of remote sensing and GIS techniques. He has published 3 publications in peer recognized international and national journals, 7 book chapter and 6 book chapter under reviewed and accepted in Springer, Elsevier & IGI Global. He has also undergone extensive training programs, including projects at Space Application Center (ISRO), Ahmedabad and safety and fire courses, further augmenting his skills and knowledge. His computer skills include proficiency in advanced software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, ENVI, and Google Earth Pro, as well as familiarity with various operating systems and office tools.
Dr. Narayan Kumar

Dr. Narayan is an Associate Professor at the School of Sciences, P P Savani University, with over 13 years of teaching and research experience following his Ph.D. He earned his doctorate from BITS-Pilani, M.Sc. in Biotechnology from IIT-Roorkee, and B.Sc. in Chemistry from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi. He achieved an All-India Rank of 20 in the MHRD-GATE examination for Life Sciences, conducted by IIT Delhi. Dr. Narayan’s research expertise lies in plasmid manipulation and prokaryotic vector design, drug design and docking, bioenergy, and metal bioremediation. His extensive teaching portfolio covers a wide range of subjects, including Genetic Engineering, Molecular Biology, Biological Chemistry, Synthetic Biology, Computational Biology, Analytical Techniques, Biological Sequence Analysis, and Cell Biology. Throughout his career, Dr. Narayan has successfully supervised numerous Ph.D., B. Tech, and Master’s students, contributing significantly to their academic and research development. He has also chaired several national and international conferences and is an active member of the American Society for Microbiology (USA) and the Association of Microbiologists of India. Dr. Narayan has published his research in several peer-reviewed journals and has presented his findings at various international conferences. His work has led to a patent on a temperature-inducible promoter derived and modified from Enterococcus faecium DJ1 Plasmid. He has been recognized with scholarships from the UGC-BSR, the Ministry of Human Resource Development, and the Department of Biotechnology of India. In addition to his academic and research roles, Dr. Narayan has served as a reviewer for several peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Biomolecular Structure and Dynamics (Taylor & Francis) and IEEE Access. He has also held key administrative positions, such as Research Coordinator, Sub-Area Academic Monitoring Convenor, IQAC member, and Chief Warden.
Dr. Komal Chandarana

Dr. Komal Chandarana is currently working as Assistant Professor in Microbiology Department in School of Sciences, PP Savani University. Dr. Komal had completed her post-graduation from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat, Gujarat. She did her PhD in Microbiology from Uka Tarsadia University, Bardoli, Gujarat.She had qualified ICAR-NET (60.22%) and availed Junior Research Fellowship (DST-SERB project) and the SHODH Fellowship (for completing PhD) during her doctoral research. She had more than five years of work experience of biofertilizer industry as production officer and senior microbiologist. She is actively engaged in the research field of protistology and plant-microbe interaction. She has published 7 research/review articles in peer reviewed international journals and around 18 book chapters and edited a book during her PhD tenure.She has also submitted the twenty-three 18SrRNAgenesequences to NCBI. She has presented papers at National conferences and awarded first in “Advances in Plant Genetic Engineering & Plant-Microbe Interactions” conference for oral presentation held at Institute of Advanced Research (IAR), Gandhinagar, Gujarat. Her area of interest lies in Biofertilizer/Biopesticidedevelopment,Bioremediation, Protist Taxonomy and Function, Metagenomics and Plant-Microbe Interaction.
Ms. Nazninbanu Nasir Pathan

Miss Nazninbanu Pathan is currently working as a Teaching Assistant in Environmental Science Department in School of Sciences at P P Savani University. She pursued her B.E. in Environmental Engineering and M.E. in Environmental Management from L.D. College of Engineering, Gujarat Technological University, Gujarat. During her M.E. dissertation, she worked on the project titled "Performance Evaluation of Electrochemical Treatment for Hardness Reduction from Cooling Tower Blowdown Water." She qualified GATE 2024 (AIR 752) and GATE 2022 (AIR 870) in Environmental Science and Engineering and received the AICTE PG Scholarship during her master's degree. She has one year of work experience in environmental consultancy as an Executive Environmental Engineer and four months of teaching experience as a Visiting Faculty member at Dr. S & S. S. Ghandhy Government College of Engineering, Surat. During her bachelor's degree, she also worked as a Project Leader for the "Reduction of NOx Concentration from Ambient Air" project under SSIP. Additionally, she is a gold medalist in Environmental Engineering Diploma.
